Colleges across the country, including Virginia Tech, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, and James Madison, have done away with trays in cafeterias. Supposedly the move saves money and helps the environment by cutting down on dish washing and food waste, but many students are protesting efforts to make them take reasonable portions and buy real sleds.
