The Colbert Report has come up with a pleasing metaphor for the health care debate: a broken marriage: “Clearly the Republicans are the man. Which means the Democrats are the woman, partly because they have no balls.”
The baby they may or may not want to have is the health care reform bill. The not-so-disinterested marriage counselor? Our conciliatory president.
