Teen Vandal Is Allowed To Attend His Prom

A Connecticut headmaster has bowed to media pressure and agreed to let senior James Tate attend his prom on June 4. Tate was suspended and banned from the event after he and several of his hoodlum chums taped cardboard letters on a wall in front of his school in an effort to impress Ms. Sonali Rodrigues. Tate plans to attend Syracuse University, so officials should be on alert this fall — there may be a surge in sign-related crimes on campus.
