Here's What Taylor Swift's Bootleg-Inspired Fashion Line for China Looks Like
EntertainmentTaylor Swift’s new fashion line for China debuted in a runway show at Hong Kong Fashion Week Monday, WWD reports.
The official line, developed to capitalize on the market and to curb counterfeiters in that country, is mostly populated by Taylor Swift fan tees of the sorts that bootleggers could easily mimic, but it’s also got several prints and signature pieces that go beyond the concert t-shirt level and let fans show their devotion by mimicking her actual style, too (including a t-shirt emblazoned with the word STYLE, in case you forgot she has a song called that). You love her early ‘60s, Cape Cod/Kennedy vibes? Help yourself to some creased, vintage-looking jeggings. Dying for the lyrics to “Bad Blood” on a dress, with mesh? Oh, you got it, girl. In expanded looks shown at WWD, Chinese consumers can also cop chaste miniskirts of the sort Swift favors, body-con dresses with her name scrambled like a crossword, even a streetwear sweatshirt inspired by Hood by Air.
