Lindsay Lohan hasn’t exactly been the most prolific actress in recent years, aside from a few guest spots on TV shows like 2 Broke Girls and a forthcoming movie in which she is a woman whose ancestors are wolves. But early this morning she announced she had a new role on the second season of the British television show Sick Note.
You might recognize her costars as being Nick Frost from Shaun of the Dead and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) from Harry Potter. On Sick Note, which has not even aired its first season in the UK, Grint plays a man who is misdiagnosed with a terminal illness, discovers people treat him better because of it, and then can’t seem to tell the truth about the fact that he’s not actually dying. According to Variety Lohan will play the daughter of Grint’s character’s boss.
Lohan has lived in London for the past several years after starring in the play Speed-the-Plow in 2014. Since then she’s developed a sort of bizarre, signature new accent that she has dubbed “Lilohan” which she has said is due to trying to learn new languages like Turkish or Arabic but really just sounds like the sort of weird, fake accent people like Madonna get when they’ve lived in the UK for too long.
My question is, if American Lindsay Lohan is in England pretending to be English Lindsay Lohan, then where is the real English Lindsay Lohan? Have you seen her? I haven’t seen them in the same place together since Parent Trap.
