A Handy Guide To Weiner's Women

Latest

“I just thought at the time…there’s way more girls out there, this is not just me,” Anthony Weiner Facebook sextee Meagan Broussard told Sean Hannity.

And consequently, lots more women for the media to pay for their stories! If Anthony Weiner thought his self-flagellating press conference was going to end his humiliation, he doesn’t get the Internet, the media —or the gossip-friendly digital trail he’s left behind. As Nancy Pelosi announced an ethics investigation into the use of government resources for his long-distance dalliances, the likes of TMZ and RadarOnline went to work, as did ABC and Fox News.

Here’s a rundown of all of the women entangled in this, voluntarily or otherwise. Even for those who can recite the litany of why this doesn’t matter, here are five issues that matter more, people flirt, etc. etc. — okay, we know you’re above this garbage. But just FYI! And alphabetically.

Huma Abedin. Weiner’s wife of eleven months, whom he indicated yesterday will stick by him, if not at the press conference. Bill Clinton officiated at their wedding, joking that marrying a politician is hard because it’s “easy to distrust them, whatever their religion.” The daughter of Indian and Pakistani scholars, Abedin has long worked for Hillary Clinton and gotten attention for her personal style. Clinton told Vogue in 2007 that she “has the energy of a woman in her 20s, the confidence of a woman in her 30s, the experience of a woman in her 40s, and the grace of a woman in her 50s. She is timeless, her combination of poise, kindness, and intelligence are matchless.”

Meagan Broussard. This 26 year-old single mother in Texas is the one who gave Andrew Breitbart the shirtless photos and the Facebook screengrabs; ABC News paid her between $10,000 and $15,000, according to TVNewser, for a sit-down interview that aired in full last night. She apparently has a shot of Weiner’s weiner that she gave to Breitbart that he won’t publish.

With printouts of one photo waved in her face, Broussard recalled, “Scary, I didn’t like seeing his face. Looks like he’s going to kill me.” Burn. She also said, “I don’t think he’s a bad guy. I think he’s got issues just like everybody else. Everyone’s standards are different, but to be elected to Congress and sit there all day on Facebook and chatting?”

Gennette Cordova. Weiner said in his press conference yesterday that he did in fact mean to Direct Message Cordova a picture of his dick over Twitter — the misfired tweet that launched this whole scandal — and that he’s apologized to her (over text) for dragging her into this. The college student in Seattle has maintained all along that she had no prior sexy dealings with Weiner, which would mean that he was sending her an unsolicited cockshot. Yesterday, Cordova tweeted, “He has had six inappropriate relationships with women online in the last three years. If it wasn’t clear, I was not one of them.” Unsolicited cockshots would certainly test that “consensual” label.

Ginger Lee. But maybe that picture really was meant for porn actress Ginger Lee, who might be right next to Cordova in a follow list. Lee gave (or sold) to TMZ an arsenal of embarrassing information about Weiner, including his PR advice. He emailed her on June 2, after this had all erupted, “Do you need to talk to a professional PR type person to give u advice? I can have someone on my team call. [Yeah, my team is doing great. Ugh].” TMZ says, “It’s unclear if Weiner’s PR team is from his Congressional staff. If so, Weiner could run afoul of House Ethics Rules as well as the law.” Weiner helpfully wrote a statement for Lee to give to the press — “And then maybe insert some y’alls in there” — to make it all authentic-like!

Lisa Weiss. According to RadarOnline and Star, Weiner took up with this blackjack dealer in Las Vegas two months after his wedding. Can someone please excise from my brain the phrase “sexts mentioned John Boehner”? Both Weiss and Weiner are Jewish, which led to the following culturally competent exchange about blowjobs: “wow a jewish girl who sucks (bleep)! this thing is ready to do damage.” Bad for the Jews, as we say.
Weiss also says she had phone sex with Weiner on a Congressional phone, which might contitute “government resources.” She says she decided to come forward after he ignored her post-Twitter scandal messages. “I wanted him to know that I had no intention of coming forward and our past was going to be kept hush hush,” Weiss told RadarOnline.com. “But he didn’t return my messages. I discovered that Anthony is a bad man… and a liar.”
But, she added, “I am a Democrat, I think he is a wonderful congressman and I hope this doesn’t hurt his career. I am still a big supporter of his, despite all of this.”
