Richard Lee Pryor’s widow Jennifer Lee Pryor is joining the chorus of women who’ve publicly berated Bill Cosby in light of his multiple rape allegations.
In an episode of Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend that was posted on Sunday, Jennifer Lee Pryor explained the back story behind Pryor and Cosby’s work dynamic:
“Richard was dirty on the outside, but he was a good person on the inside. Bill, fuck. Clean. Oh, clean. He hated Richard because he ‘worked dirty.’ Bill worked clean, so therefore, you know—Bill’s just a fucking hypocrite, and dirty on the inside.”
Pryor also commented on Cosby’s reputation as a womanizer, referencing at one point “the “depth of his perversity”:
“It was a well-kept secret that Bill fucked everything that moved. This kind of shit that we’re finding out about is beyond. I wasn’t aware of this kind of business. There are people in the business who were aware of it and they’re coming out now.”
Pryor spent much of the interview recapping her relationship with Richard Pryor, including his drug history, suicide attempt and gay experiences. She recalled the time Bill and Camille came to dinner at their house and she felt like they were judging the Pryors.
She also talked about the Pryor biopic that’s in the works, among other topics. As for Cosby’s legacy, Pryor says, “He’s done” and “He’s a piece of shit.”
