People take tattoos seriously to varying degrees. Some think that anything you commit to your skin forever should have a significance, others think that it should just be visually appealing and then — way out there on the fringe — there’s sort of-celebrity Ryan Cabrera who got Ryan Gosling’s face tattooed on his calf because #YOLO.
If you don’t remember who Ryan Cabrera is, first of all, good for you. There are so many more important things to remember like buying milk, picking your kids up from school or literally anything else. Secondly, here’s a refresher: Ryan Cabrera is a musician who dated Ashlee Simpson in the early 2000s and now the refresher is over because that is the only thing I have to say about him. Wait, if I remember The Ashlee Simpson Show correctly, they also sucked face for the first time directly in front of her father, which is not all that strange knowing what we know about Joe Simpson.
These days, I’m not so sure what Cabrera is up to — only that his hair has grown even taller and he sometimes gets invited to very elegant seeming red carpets. Oh, and like I previously mentioned, he also got a tattoo of Ryan Gosling’s face because NORMAL.
Cabrera told Lance Bass (because MORE NORMAL):
“Me and my buddy we go in [the tattoo parlor] and he chooses one thing off the wall for me, then I choose one thing for him. You can’t see it until after it’s done and then we unveil them at the same time.”
