Welp, Here Is Alison Brie As 'Muffy the Vampire Slayer'

And now, let’s take a moment to imagine an alternate history in which Alison Brie and Jennifer Lawrence both got started on a television show titled Not Another High School Show, circa 2007. (Yes, like Not Another Teen Movie.) The project got as far as shooting a pilot, and thanks to YouTube you can now watch a scene featuring both.

The clip comes via UpRoxx. It is pretty terrible! Brie appears as “Muffy the Vampire Slayer.” In case the joke somehow soared over your head (maybe you ducked?), she’s an oversexed riff on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It’s funny watching Brie, though, because it’s almost like she’s playing someone playing this dumb character. Also, props for this line: “At this school, there are no classes. We get our education by aimlessly wondering through the hallways.” That really explains a lot about Buffy.
