“#Christmas planning has begun in the East Wing at the @WhiteHouse,” Melania tweeted. “I’m looking forward to sharing our final vision for this unique tradition in the coming months.”

So far the vision appears to be… pretty gold flowers. Nice.

It’s common for the first lady and her team to begin prepping for Christmas this far in advance—Melania posted about Christmas planning in July last year as well—but the precise timing is hard to write off as a coincidence.

I don’t know how she’ll manage to top her nightmarish treescape from last year, but I’m sure she’ll try her darndest!
