Baby Needs a New Pair of Shoes: Jessica Simpson's Newborn Earns $100k

As mentioned in Midweek Madness, Jessica, fiancé Eric Johnson, daughter Maxwell and newborn son Ace all wore white in a sweet, tasteful photo shoot for Us. Ace never really looks too thrilled to be there — for a six digit sum, you’d think he could muster a smile. Alas.

Selling baby photos is kind of retro. Celebs don’t do it much these days. Fellow businesswoman/brand Kim Kardashian gave away a photo of her newborn for free — first on her mother’s talk show, then on Instagram. There was, of course, no charge for images of royal Prince George. Jessica’s photo fee is a mere fraction of the $14 MILLION Angelina Jolie was paid for photographs of her holy twin deities in 2008 (she donated the cash to charity). Guess Jessica is a mere fraction as famous/talented/interesting? Anyway, congrats to Ace for bringing baby photo bucks back… And to being born with a silver/platinum/diamond/Hermès spoon in his mouth. Mazel!
