Jersey Shore Producers To Now Stereotype Other Groups
LatestThe producers of Jersey Shore are filming a “Southern version” of the reality hit—for Comedy Central—called Party Down South. Although they insist that this won’t be a “stereotypical hick show,” they have similar region-based reality projects brewing.
Doron Ofir of Popular Productions—the casting geniuses behind Jersey Shore—are working with 495 productions on a show called Wicked Summer, to feature Boston partiers, and are reportedly casting a Los Angeles-based show with the working title Persian Version. (Not to be confused with the all-Korean cast of Tyrese’s ripoff K-Town.) None of these shows are set to air on MTV.
