Don’t be surprised if Lizzy Caplan pops up on a lot of talk shows talking about sex over the next few days. The Mean Girls/Party Down/True Blood actress is out and about promoting her new Showtime series Masters of Sex, in which she plays Virginia Johnson, sexologist/psychologist and one half of the groundbreaking Masters and Johnson sexuality research team.
Last night, Caplan — whose talk show presence is always welcome — stopped by Conan where she talked about the X-rated cookbook her parents had while she was growing up (because who doesn’t want a cock-shaped meatloaf for family dinner?) and how quickly sexy scenes — she’s seen and participated in a lot of them — get boring.
