The Today Show enlisted the help of experts to discuss a new, obnoxiously-named pregnancy plague that’s sweeping the nation: Mommyrexia. (Where would we be without the “-rexia” suffix?) Dr. Nancy Snyderman had a few strong statements about the “nine months of bliss” that is being ruined by pregnant women who are concerned about their weight: “We have become cuckoo about hating our bodies and the self loathing … I think this is an Upper East Side, white-girl problem.” She continued, “It’s irritating to me: we want perfect babies, we want perfect bodies, we want perfect lives — I just find the whole thing vulgar.” Pot/kettle, Nancy.
