Gary Oldman Raps His Own Cover of 'Timber' and It Is Magic

Gary Oldman stopped by a radio station to perform his own take on Pitbull and Ke$ha’s hit “Timber” and it’s as hilarious and perfect as you’d expect it to be. Yes, just so we’re perfectly clear—you are about to watch RAPPING GARY OLDMAN.

The 55-year-old actor and star of the new Robocop reboot seems to be tired of people running around fawning over Benedict Cumberbatch and Idris Elba as the greatest, hottest British exports. Because he is really busting out with all the awesome things lately, reminding everyone that he was doing this thing long before all these up-and-comers. Hey Gary, I get it—I’ve loved you since you went shirtless and donned tight leather pants for Sid and Nancy. None of those other punks will ever hold a candle to you. All hail the king.

Is there anything in the world than watching an older, charming Englishman rap? This needs to be done a lot more. Perhaps we should petition to get an entire channel of this or something.
