Here's That Alternate Ending for How I Met Your Mother

It seems we just got over all the hullabaloo regarding How I Met Your Mother and how How ended. People were not pleased. At all. Or at least from the various pieces that populated the internet, that’s the impression that I got (as someone who has not watched a single minute of the show). But alas, the widely rumored alternate ending is here!

The ending is basically a more official version than that fan-made one that arose out of sheer disappointment with the actual televised one. Well, is it better? I’m not going to watch the show, though I’m actually impressed with its refusal to just die and embrace the television afterlife as merely a suggested show on Netflix. That takes some heart.
