There are many brave warriors history remembers fondly—Achilles, William Wallace, my Aunt Betty who braved Black Friday in San Diego last year and got two iPads for the price of one—but now, there is finally a hero who trumps them all.

This brave kitten takes a stand against a deadly ceramic oppressor. Sure, that cat may look like a statue to your untrained eye, but to a perceptive Cat Overlord assassin in training, it’s a clear threat. We certainly are lucky to get this rare peek into their ruthless fighting methods. Too bad our plans of disguising ourselves as tacky ceramic cat-themed decor during the Cat Overlord uprising have been thwarted.
