Friends, this is Caffrey. Caffrey, friends. As you may have noticed, Caffrey is one tough looking old cat and that’s because he’s been through some real shit. Like years ago, for example, he was run over by a car and lost half of one of his back legs. Then, about a decade later, he developed a growth on the front leg on the same side of his body and had to have that one removed, too. Now, you might be asking yourself what the deal is with Caffrey’s owner — why it is that she won’t let him slip peacefully into the night with what remains of his legs and dignity — but the thing is that Caffrey doesn’t seem to mind his gradual transition into a biped one bit. As a matter of fact, he’s doing great.
