A couple has recreated Game of Thrones using their pugs. This cannot be happening.
I don’t think it is possible for me to be happier about this. For those of you who don’t quite understand what all the fuss is about, let me break down the finer points of the issue: PUGS + GAME OF THRONES. Via Buzzfeed:
The pugs’ owners, Phillip Lauer, 57, and his wife Sue, 47, have been dressing their pugs up as characters from cinema and TV since they were puppies.
And while the pair normally only shoot stills, they jumped at the chance of creating a mini-movie based on one of their favourite shows after being contacted by TV streaming service blinkbox.
Phillip Lauer said his wife spent two weeks (TWO WEEKS) making the Iron Throne. He also said when he walks towards the studio in their garage, the dogs (Roxy, Blue and Bono) get extremely excited. Because as everyone knows pugs are the Diana Ross of canines.
I am woefully short on GoT related dog puns for this post. *Sigh* I wonder who might be able to help me out?
