Woman Enters Courthouse With Monkey In Her Bra

In a story that’s sure to inspire confidence in security procedures, last week a woman went into a Virginia courthouse with a tiny monkey stuffed in her shirt and no one noticed. Later while filling out paperwork, she referred to her daughter and when an office worker asked where the girl was, she pulled the monkey, who was wearing a diaper and dress, out of her bra. When asked why she brought the seven-week-old marmoset to court, she said, “Well, would you leave your child at home? She has to be close to me.” As for why the monkey was allowed through the metal detector, deputies quipped, “It wasn’t armed.”
