A Burmese beauty queen was stripped of her title of Miss Asia Pacific World after pageant officials in Seoul found her “rude” for not wanting the plastic surgery they tried to force on her. So she skipped town with her $100,000 jeweled crown.

May Myat Noe was crowned Miss Asia Pacific World in Seoul in May, 2014. But she was stripped of her title this week for allegedly being “rude” and not having “respect for the main organization, the national director, the manager, media or fans who made her the winner,” the Guardian reports.

These charges came after May Myat Noe, who is just 18 years old, refused to get the breast enlargement surgery that pageant officials were adamant about.

“We thought she should be more beautiful … so as soon as she arrived we sent her to the hospital to operate on her breasts,” said David Kim, director of the pageant.

“It’s our responsibility,” he said, adding, “If she has no good nose, then maybe, if she likes, we can operate on her nose. If it’s breasts, then breasts.”

Instead, she booked a flight back home to Burma and took her jeweled crown with her.
