Girl Skater Wows Dudes, Ladies Alike

Fifteen-year-old skater Brianna Beristain is slated to compete in the prestigious Girls Ride Organization competition later this month. But, says her friend Triston Harris,

Forget being a good skater for a girl. She is just an awesome skater in general. She can compete with anyone.

Adds Beristain, “Most skaters are men and some are very encouraging and others take awhile to warm up to the idea they are skating with a girl. There is no greater feeling to see them watch in amazement.”
