Casey Johnson the Johnson & Johnson heiress and recent fiancee of Tila Tequila, was found dead in her Los Angeles home by her maid yesterday morning. Johnson had reportedly been dead for several days. [TMZ]
Johnson leaves behind an adopted daughter, Ava, who has been living with Johnson’s mother, Sale, for the past month or so. Her parents had recently cut her off financially, as she allegedly refused to get proper treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, according to a source. [NYPost]
Meanwhile, Tila Tequila has been on a Twitter rampage of sorts, first posting about Johnson’s death, then asking for privacy, then posting that she’d heard Johnson was in a coma (this turned out to be false), and then asking for privacy once again, and then posting that she’d been having “haunting visions” of Johnson. Tequila tells TMZ that the last time she spoke to Johnson was on December 29; after that, Johnson’s phone had been shut off, and she was not able to reach her. [TMZ]
Though the LAPD says there’s no evidence of foul play, a death investigation has been opened and the autopsy could take place today. [RadarOnline]
