Here’s an unconventional pitch from a wannabe member of the American government, aspiring Iowa senator Joni Ernst: “I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm, so when I get to Washington, I’ll know how to cut pork.” Yes, ma’am!

“Washington’s full of big spenders, so let’s make them squeal,” is the Republican’s kicker. Uh, #misandry? The video (via AdWeek) was even shot in a barn. It’s like if Pam from Archer ran for Congress. It’s glorious. Ms. Ernst has been endorsed by Sarah Palin, presumably because GOP politics is currently a pissing contest over who can be the realest, truest, hog-dick-cuttingest American on the ballot.
