A year before they were married, the Avatar director put the Hurt Locker director in a different dusty, violent tableau for Bill Paxton‘s band, Martini Ranch. (Bigelow had just directed Paxton in Near Dark. Bigelow is part of a posse of lasso-ing ladies — that much I got. The rest is an ambitious, slightly incomprehensible series of shoot-outs and sashays, featuring cameos by Paul Reiser and Judge Reinhold.
