On Monday’s Oprah, Roseanne Barr revealed that for years she’s been holding a grudge against Oprah because she thinks she cheated during a 1999 arm wrestling match.
But before we get into that, take a look at what has quickly become my favorite Oprah promo of all time:
I can’t wait to watch the episode of Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes in which they debate whether it’s too jarring to segue from nut farming to incest to adorable sitcom outtakes in under 30 seconds. (Hint: Yes it is.)
To be fair, the clip does accurately reflect their delightfully wacky interview. Surprisingly, the weirdest part of this episode wasn’t Roseanne’s new life on the farm, but her explanation for why she thought Oprah was mad at her for the past decade. It’s becoming a trend in the final season for Oprah to confront guests she’s rumored to be feuding with, but this was way more entertaining than the Whoopi Goldberg mea culpa. Today we’ve learned that no one takes the rules of arm wrestling more seriously than Roseanne, and Oprah isn’t above peeing in a pool.
