On The Daily Show to promote his animated bromance on HBO, Ricky Gervais got Jon Stewart to engage in some gendered role-play. It got a bit edgy (for basic cable, that is).

Of course, even in a prison fantasy, Stewart is sensitive and nuanced. Asked whether he’d want to play Mummy or Daddy, he picks Daddy, because “in modern times, Mummy still has to work, and also do the duties — I think Daddy, because there are moments that I could say, I need to be by myself.” It was just the opening Gervais was waiting for.
