Rudy Giuliani Says He Was Not Asked for Comment on Whether or Not He's a Baby Wearing Diapers

Rudy Giuliani, a restless ghoul who haunts the White House, does not trust the New York Times or, for that matter, any piece of text. Must be hard.

Appearing on CNN on Wednesday night to comment on the Times’s op-ed by an anonymous senior Trump administration official, Guiliani said, “I don’t trust anything I read anymore, not after the stuff that’s been done to me.”

“The latest one being the great, wonderful, totally honorable Bob Woodward,” he said, “who will quote a scurrilous thing about a public figure and not ask for their version of it.”

What scurrilous thing might he be referring to? In Woodward’s Trump biography, Fear: Trump in the White House, Woodward reports that Trump once called Guiliani a “baby” who wears diapers after Guiliani defended him in the wake of the pussy-grabbing Access Hollywood tape. Cold.

“Rudy, you’re a baby,” Trump told Guiliani, according to Woodward’s book. “I’ve never seen a worse defense of me in my life. They took your diaper off right there. You’re like a little baby that needed to be changed. When are you going to be a man?”

Condolences to Rudy, who was apparently not asked to comment on whether he is, as Trump reportedly said, a baby who wears diapers.
