The Buckwheat Boyz’s “Ice Cream And Cake” first crossed our mind as a potential tribute to Team Cake, but a little digging led to the realization that this fine melody is actually a YouTube dance-video institution. Herewith, a sampler.

They’re actually holding ice cream and cake mix. Smart young ladies.

A boy band in the making?

You totally would’ve done this at a high school sleepover. In fact, I think I did, albeit to “Motownphilly.”

It’s not a meme without a cute-kid video!

At this school, freshman get a sugary ass-shaking welcome.

This girl deserves her own Disney series.

As does this kid sleeping on the couch.

When it comes to cake, this lady knows that the children are our future.

Ah, swim team Speedos.

Even Baskin-Robbins got in the action, holding a contest for the best Ice Cream and Cake video dance.
