Imagine if the long, lazy summers of your childhood had included Game of Thrones. Actually, don’t bother, because this video perfectly incapsulates what it would’ve looked like if George R.R. Martin’s novels had been adapted into a show perfectly calibrated to air at 4 p.m. on a Thursday in August.
The video itself is the work of one Hunter Sanders and dates from last March. The music is new, created by Steve Duzz and available for download here. Don’t you dare pretend that remix isn’t your new jam. Then a THIRD person took the two and combined them into this beauty, currently climbing the charts on Reddit. Even better, he’s actually the second person to try the same trick. Intellectual property is fucked and no artist will ever be properly compensated again, but hey, at least the results are occasionally sublime.
