Underwater Tiger Is Terrifying, Beautiful

A tiger is a gorgeous creature, but a close look at those dangerous claws and terrifying teeth reminds us that they are definitely designed to kill. Or maim, at the very least. Nancy Chan at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, near San Francisco, California, caught these gorgeous images of Akasha, a two-year-old female Bengal tiger, at feeding time.

Chan says: ”Unlike most cats, tigers enjoy swimming and with the hot temperatures, can often be seen lounging in the water. ‘Our tigers adore diving and splashing around. They are our top attraction, visitors are spellbound. ‘We sometimes throw meat in for them to dive for but they don’t normally need an excuse.”

Yikes.
