The phrase “if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything” is actually visible on Davis’s face as she struggles to find a way to answer that can be aired on cable. Kimmel switches gears a little and asks if she’d have the first lady on the show in a walk-on role. To that, Davis says, after some thought, yes.
“Because you know what, I really want to talk to the lady. I really do,” she says.
Kimmel is still trying to pretend Melania deserves sympathy for some reason, and wonders if Davis is happy she’s giving a woman who is “a captive in her own home” some “pleasure” once in a while.
