10 Things You May Have Missed On TV This Week

Latest

In this week’s compilation of pop culture crap, Tim Gunn criticizes Michele Bachmann’s fashion choices, Piers Morgan asks the Kardashians what their talent is, and The Green Hornet is totally lying in its promotional campaign.

1.) Tim Gunn reviews State of the Union fashion.
Gunn followed up his autumn bitch tour with a seemingly useless, but ultimately hilarious, critique of politicians’ clothing.

2.) The Green Hornet blatantly lies.
For some reason the commercials running this week for the superhero movie state that the film has been #1 for two weeks in a row. It was not. It opened at #1 and then was knocked out of the top spot by No Strings Attached.

3.) So, what’s her talent?
Everyone always seems to be asking that question when talking about Kim Kardashian, but rarely when talking to her. So good on Piers for doing it. I’d say that her answer of “marketing” is incredibly honest and accurate.

4.) Go back to film school!
Considering that they couldn’t even get the aspect ratio or sound levels correct (and don’t get me started on the script!), this is a horrible advertisement for the New York Film Academy. Come here, and learn to be a hack!

5.) It wasn’t funny. It was hilarious.

6.) Hoda doesn’t know the difference between singing and farting?

7.) That baby is not a baby!
Seriously, look at how agile he is. And how long—and thin—his limbs are. And how thick his hair is. His parents slapped a diaper on him to make his dancing look more impressive than it really is.

8.) Wendy’s disdain.
Not that it needs to be driven home that Michelle “Bombshell” McGee is a media whore, but seriously, after all the shit that Wendy has talked on this woman, McGee is an even bigger asshole for going on her show. Still, though, I like that Wendy didn’t pretend to like her.

9.) The pointlessness of being an English major.
Camille Grammer explains what kind of jobs you can get after college with that background.

10.) Oprah’s secret sister.
The absolute best part of Oprah’s “family shocker” is that when she announced her secret sister on to the show, Patricia got the celebrity name treatment.
