There could be a hundred people in a room… and I think a hundred of them would tell Bradley Cooper to please let go of A Star Is Born.
Cooper went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday and said he wants to bring A Star Is Born back. He’s not aiming for a tour or a sequel, but rather a one night only event, People reports:
“What I thought would be a cool thing to do, maybe one night, would be like a live reading of the script and sing all the songs as we read the script, like at the Hollywood Bowl or something.”
This sounds extremely tedious, but I can’t underestimate the willpower of the A Star Is Born standom. Would there be a live band, or would they sing softly to each other in a-cappella with only dead silence as their backing instrumentals?
Cooper, let it go, my dude. There are no more Oscars. No more peeing on stages. A Star Is Born is dead.
