The cause of death for 25-year-old Peaches Geldof has been released: It was a heroin overdose.
As the Times of London points out, Geldof’s mother, Paula Yates, also died of a heroin overdose, in 2000, when Geldof was 11 years old. At the time, Yates was alone with Geldof’s sister, Tiger Lily. When Peaches Geldof died she was alone at home with her 11-month-old son; she leaves behind 2 children, a husband, and her father, Irish singer/songwriter/activist Bob Geldof.
