Earlier this week Nancy Garrido’s lawyer said Phillip Garrido would plead guilty to charges related to the kidnapping and rape of Jaycee Dugard, but today they both pleaded not guilty on all 18 charges against them. He reportedly changed his mind because his lawyer is planning to challenge the composition of the grand jury that indicted him. Phillip’s lawyer said of Nancy’s lawyer leaking the story to the press, “I would say that he should speak for his client.”
