Here’s all the shit we couldn’t cover today:
- “You know we are talking about someone who truly believes not a single refugee, not a single immigrant, should set foot on American soil,” Representative Ilhan Omar said of Stephen Miller on Tuesday. “I am appalled by that. Because unlike him and others, I haven’t forgotten my roots. I know what it meant for me to get the opportunity to come to the United States to start anew.” Omar can see him clearly and that makes some people furious. [CNN]
- Attorney General Bill Barr will release a redacted version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report within a week. The redactions will be color coded! [Axios]
- Border Patrol officials promise to follow the law starting…. right….. now! [CNN]
- Massachusetts is now the 16th state to ban conversion therapy. Who’s next? [NBC News]
- Some Senate Republicans don’t want Herman Cain as chairman of the Federal Reserve. More importantly, remember Cain’s 9-9-9 tax plan and how at the right angle all the signage for it looked like it said 6-6-6? I remember. [Politico]
- Democrats have introduced an anti-harassment bill that takes an expansive view of what makes workers, particularly workers in low-wage jobs, vulnerable to harassment and abuse. Among its many provisions, it would eliminate the tipped minimum wage, extend anti-discrimination protections to small businesses and contractors, and ban mandatory arbitration clauses. It’s a good bill. [Vox]
- Candace Owens really had a day. [Twitter]

- Bipartisanship! To fleece you! Thank you, Turbo Tax. [ProPublica]
