Jezebel Olympics Day 5: Eat Buffalo Wings Without Ruining Your Lipstick

The only thing cool girls love more than the big game is housing an order of two dozen buffalo wings and then talking about how cold she is because she’s so tiny.

In Wednesday’s competition (pre-taped, like the real Olympics), our Olympians were challenged to eat as many buffalo wings as they could in a three-minute period, without messing up their lipstick. They were allowed to choose their lipstick brands and application processes, and were judged based on number of wings consumed, combined with intactness of lip color.

Team Wings’ Kelly Faircloth wore Luxetrance lipstick by Pat McGrath labs; Team Franzen’s Megan Reynolds wore Fenty Beauty’s Stunna Lip Paint; Team Beer’s Hazel Cills wore Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick by Stila, while Team Football’s Ellie Shechet wore Sephora’s Rouge Matte.

Ultimately—while all lipsticks did extremely well; the technology has really improved—Faircloth managed the winning combo of most wings and most retained lipstick. Congrats to Team Wings and to Team Pat McGrath.
