Tonight the president will hold his annual 90-minute racism commercial, as the Constitution intended. We will watch it together, for comfort and for safety (in case anyone faints from despair or a chip goes down the wrong pipe).
According to an excerpt of the speech reported by the Washington Post, the president will ask the country to “heal old wounds,” an apparent reference to the open sores on his old man thighs. “We can bridge old divisions, heal old wounds, build new coalitions, forge new solutions and unlock the extraordinary promise of America’s future,” the president will reportedly say. “The decision is ours to make.”
Is it ever!
