Kanye Talks About His Baby Joy, Totally Gets the Circle of Life

In the first promo clip for Kanye West’s interview with his girlfriend’s mother/the grandmother of his child that’s been released where he actually speaks, West rattles on a bit about how his credibility as an artist has been altered because of his relationship with noted philanthropist and activist Kim Kardashian.

Before these 58 seconds, all Kris had given us was a still of Kanye standing and a video promo in which he said absolutely nothing but made this face:

But in this new clip, we learn that Kanye is still full of feelings about the meaning of life and death and that Kris is still a horrible interviewer:

Kanye: You know my grandfather just passed and his whole thing was never about money, was never about popularity; his whole thing was joy. Just joy. Just having joy in his life.
Kris: Amazing.
Kanye: You know [Kim’s] my joy and she brought my new joy into the world and there’s no paparazzi and there’s no blog comment that is going to take that joy from me.
Kris: That’s pretty amazing.

Then Kris made this face:

The full interview airs Friday, taped from the same stage where “Latin hearthrob Carlos Ponce” recently ripped his shirt open. Baby Nori is rumored to be making her first, not-fake appearance on the show. Tomorrow. Tomorrow. I already love you tomorrow.
