Majority of Republicans Think Mike Huckabee Is Wrong About Beyoncé

Latest

61 percent of Iowa Republicans believe that Mike Huckabee “crossed a line” when he called President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama bad parents for allowing their daughters to listen to Beyoncé.

But let’s not get too excited, y’all—according to the Bloomberg Politics/Des Moines Register Iowa Poll, which was conducted by Selzer & Co. among 402 likely Republican caucus-goers and 401 likely Democratic caucus-goers, 40 percent of likely Iowa Republican caucus-goers said they agreed with Fuckabee‘s characterization (from his newly-released book, God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy) of Beyoncé’s music as “mental poison.”

And, of course:

“Republican men were more likely than women to align with Huckabee, with 45 percent agreeing with his assessment of Beyonce’s music. Thirty-two percent of Republican women agreed.”

Beyoncé, lounging in a caftan somewhere, instructs her iPhone concierge to shoot off a single text to FLOTUS: “LOL.”
