Plastic Surgery, Divorce and Drama Galore: The Return of the Beverly Hills Housewives

Each season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has featured a high-profile marital split—first Camille and Kelsey Grammar, then Taylor and Russell Armstrong (whose divorce was never finalized before Russell committed suicide). The trailer for the third season (which premieres November 5) shows that the reality TV divorce curse has struck again, this time for Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif whose marriage unravels over the course of the show.

Other drama includes the typical bickering amongst the ladies and revisiting Kim Richards’ addiction issues after she thought it was a good idea to get elective surgery (a nose job) after leaving rehab. But the most scandalous is bound to be Taylor, once again, after report after report after report emerged during filming that she was repeatedly a belligerent drunk mess in front of the cameras, even getting wasted and making a scene at a four-year-old’s birthday party.


Along with the trailer for the new season, Bravo released a 30-second, stylized promo spot of the women ironically walking around in fur coats in Southern California, freezing pools and fountains as they walk past, because they’re so “cold.” The thing is though, as you can see in the longer trailer, they actually do wear fur all the time, unironically.
