What do you get when you take one well-known philandering Tea Partying Congressman who— let’s face it — looks a lot like a penis, a little girl whose father is an undocumented immigrant who would get deported if aforementioned penis-pol had his way, and a room full of Tea Party voters? FUN TIMES galore!
Tennessee Tea Partier Scott DesJarlais was taking questions at an event attended by mainly Tea Party folk when a little girl named Josie Molina, voice shaking, stepped up to the mic. The following exchange then occurred:
MOLINA: “Mr. DesJarlais, I have papers, but I have a dad who’s undocumented. What can I do to have him stay with me?”
DESJARLAIS: “Thank you for being here and thank you for coming forward and speaking…the answer still kind of remains the same, that we have laws and we need to follow those laws and that’s where we’re at.”
