[Virginian-Pilot]
  • Virginia continues to not be okay: Police sergeant Robert A. Stamm, who was monitoring protests related to Gov. Ralph Northam, has been placed on paid administrative leave after Anitfa reveled his ties to white nationalism. [New York Times]
  • Lawmakers in both the House and Senate have introduced bipartisan bills to repeal Trump’s ban against trans people in the military. [The Hill]
  • At least three people have withdrawn from an opportunity to head Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s presidential campaign over concerns about mistreatment of staff. [HuffPost]
  • Georgia Republican Rep. Rob Woodall is not seeking reelection. [Politico]
  • A federal judge is allowing Puerto Rico to restructure some of its debt, which critics fear will attract vulture funds to buy and profit from Puerto Rico’s debt. [Democracy Now]
  • The Department of Justice has awarded $3.8 million to California residents injured in the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting. [The Hill]
