Beverly Hills Housewives Outsource Child-Rearing, Childbirth
LatestOn last night’s premiere of RHOBH, we learned that Camille Grammer—soon-to-be Kelsey Grammer’s ex-wife—lives on a 17-acre estate and has four nannies for her two children who were born via surrogacy, which made pregnancy “a lot easier.”
Camille feels that the people have had the wrong impression of her, something which she hopes to change through her participation with this reality show. And she’s right, in a way. Previously, I’ve thought of her as a sympathetic figure: the strong, silent type who has been a rock of support for her husband and his addiction issues, only to be slapped in the face—after 14 years together—with a divorce, followed by the news that he’d impregnated a 28-year-old woman (which Camille learned about through a tabloid). Now, however, she comes off as someone with a ton of money and few responsibilities. (Aside from picking out “gay” shirts for her husband.)
