Celebrity Halloween Costumes: The Good, the Bad and the Spooky

Halloween: a holiday in which we hearken back to our pagan roots by dressing up as sexy versions of various occupations and demanding candies from strangers. Every year Heidi Klum honors this day by inviting a lot of famous (and sort of famous) people to a night club. Some of them get very much into the spirit of the night; others literally wear pajamas. Let’s take a look:

Heidi Klum went as a very old woman and looked completely unlike herself; Lucky‘s Eva Chen was The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo; Jay Manuel dressed as a demon gladiator in a sensible winter cape.

Here we have model Jessica White as a beautiful showgirl; Christian Siriano as a conceptual Tinkerbell; and OITNB‘s Dascha Polanco as the black swan.

Power womyn! Bethenny Frankel as Marilyn Monroe; stylist June Ambrose as a very fierce Queen Elizabeth; actress Tika Sumpter as a stunning Nefertiti.

NooooOOoOOoOOO, Perez Hilton as Miley Cyrus. Also, Austin Scarlett from Project Runway as a fireman and model Shaun Ross as… a cat? From Cats? I don’t know, guys.

Alexandra Richards, the daughter of Keith Richards,as a lion in pajamas, fitness expert David Kirsch as a zombie, and former it girl Cory Kennedy as Buzz Lightyear, also in pajamas.

Some couples: Ice T and Coco as a sexy school girl and a ninja (classic couples’ costume); Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman of Marchesa as The Birds and Psycho; and Dean Caten and Dan Caten of DSquared2 as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Heidi Klum, again, and a pack of French courtiers just hangin’ out; The Blonds as… um… Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke giving a stripped-down, acoustic performance? (They are Madonna and George Michael).
