Condé Nast Gets Rid of Internship Program, Crushes Ill-Informed Dreams

Women Wear Daily reported Wednesday that Condé Nast, the media conglomerate recently sued by two former interns, will be cutting their internship program entirely, starting in 2014.

Condé Nast hasn’t commented on this developments, but besides the lawsuit, there have been other signs that something like this might happen. The company reportedly used to pay their interns, but several interns told the tumblr Who Pays Interns that, as of earlier this year, it had stopped giving out small stipends.

After the news came out, some people took to Twitter to express their intense sorrow that no one would ever get to intern at Condé Nast’s many publications, which include Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and GQ, again:
