The state representative caught with a concealed weapon in a Planned Parenthood parking lot wants everyone to know it’s all a big misunderstanding. He’s not an anti-choice terrorist — he’s a creepy stalker who happens to be an anti-choice politician.

Minnesota Republican Tom Hackbarth says that he was simply looking for a woman he met on an online dating site who had said she was unavailable for a second date. All he wanted to know was if the bitch was lying, people. Nothing to see here.

“I was not a jealous boyfriend,” he said. It’s totally a misunderstanding.”

True. He was not anyone’s boyfriend. And probably won’t be anytime soon.

As for why he had his (legal) concealed weapon, well, you never know. And really, he had no idea it was a Planned Parenthood that he pulled into. But now that we’re on the topic. Hackbarth is strongly anti-abortion. Thank God the police caught him lest multitasking his afternoon crossed Hackbarth’s mind. In the meantime, it’s clear that the woman made the right call, and we can add her to our annals of terrible online dates.
