Breaking: baby closely resembles many other babies— he’s bald, sleepy looking, and confused. To be honest the dog looks like the one who is really winning the day here.

According to NPR, these portraits “break with tradition” in that they were taken by Kate’s dad in the couple’s backyard rather than by a man in a frilly shirt wearing professional photographer named Reginald inside a jewel-encrusted latrine.
