The New Opener for Real Housewives of NYC Is Batshit Insane

Latest

The opening credits of the sixth season of The Real Housewives of New York City are essentially a self-parody, with one woman claiming, “I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I’m preeeeettttttyyyyy!!!!”

The intros for The Real Housewives franchise are known for cast members’ punchy one-liners that are meant to encapsulate the essence of each woman’s personality. In the past, they’ve been things like, “To some people, living elegantly just comes naturally,” or “I’m not afraid to say what everyone else is thinking.”

But now we have gems like:

If you’re going to talk about me behind my back, at least check out my great ass.

And this one, which refers to Aviva Drescher’s prosthetic leg:

When people tell me I’m fake, I know they’re just pulling my leg.

Or this one, which refers to Sonja Morgan’s penchant for going panty-less:

Sometimes Sonja has to go commando. What can I say?

What can you say? “Money can’t buy you class” comes to mind.
